The Junior (JR) I picture in this is the one right after Jesse McCartney left the roll. An older Jamie will appear too. I guess just picture an older version of the kid who played him.
Chapter 1
"This isn't like him, Tad," Dixie breathed shaking her head as she paced near the front door.
"Dixie, he's doing this because we made him angry, he's trying to punch us by making us worry," Tad added, "It's very typical sixteen year old boy."
"Not my teenage boy," She shot back, "He hasn't been acting like himself lately. And this outburst tonight," She said shaking her head, "that's not the Junior we raised."
"It's just a rebellious teenage thing," He assured her, tossing her a comforting smile as he reached out to take her hand, "I know how boys think, Dixie," He laughed, pulling her to him., "just give him some time to work through all of this."
She nodded and sighed, walking his open arms, "I hope you're right."
"I am," Tad assured, pulling her tight in his embrace. "He should be home any…" His words trailed off as the front door know turned, and the door began to open slowly, "Speak of the devil."
Dixie pulled out of his arms and spun around, turning her eyes to the front door, just in time to see a bloody Junior stagger through the door. "Oh my god." She cried, moving to him instantly, "Junior, what happened, are you alright?"
He stared up at her with wide blank eyes, his face twisted in pain, "…fine." He pushed out, trying to keep his balance as he walked further into the room.
"You're bleeding," Dixie said, trying to touch at the open wound on his forehead.
"Junior," Tad questioned more urgently, watching the boy trying to make it to the couch, "what happened?"
"Did you get into a fight?" Dixie wondered as he helped him sit down on the couch.
Tad moved to the doorway, intent to close and look the door, just in case Junior had been in a fight and whomever did this to him had followed him. He paused at the doorway, catching site of the car out of the corner of his eye.
"You've been drinking," Dixie gasped, as she sat down next to Junior on the couch, the stench of vodka overwhelming, "Did you drive home?"
"He did," Tad breathed, eyes cast out the door and focused on the car, " and I think he was in an accident."
Dixie's eyes shot to Tad and then back to Junior, as she put the pieces together in her in mind, "Did you get into an accident?"
"Hit a tree or a trash bin or somefin…," He managed to get out, despite the fact that his words were so stuttered and strung out that they ran together in one long word.
Tad pushed the door closed and shook his head, "We need to take you to the hospital."
"No hospital," He told him firmly, "Leave me alone." He told Dixie as he turned his eyes on her, "Just leave me alone." He forced out again through a hard breath as he tried to push himself up from the couch.
"Junior," Dixie started, watching him sway on his feet as he stood up, "we need to get you checked out." She told him, reaching out to steady him, "I think you may have a concussion."
"Hard to tell over all that alcohol," Tad said put walking toward them, "How much have you had to drink?"
"You're not my father," Junior threw back instantly, "What you say doesn't matter."
"Junior," Dixie warned, shaking her head.
"You're just as bad as he is." He scoffed, shaking his head as he turned away from her, "I'm going to bed."
"Junior," Dixie called after him, intent to follow him into the hallway, when Tad's hand clasped around her forearm.
"Let him go." Tad said, "He needs to calm down."
"He needs to see a doctor," She breathed through a sigh.
Tad nodded in agreement, "He does, but he's not in any condition to be rational with us. The best we can do right now, is let him clean himself up and fall asleep. I'll call Dad or Jake and have them come over and check him out."
"He may have a concussion, we shouldn't let him sleep." She argued, wanting to deal with the situation sooner rather then later.
"He doesn't have a concussion, he's drunk."
She sighed, "What are we going to do with him, Tad?"
"Right now, we let him calm down, keep an eye on him, and wait for Dad or Jake to get here and check him out."

Let's hope they at least have the decency to get the kid some help for his obvious alcohol problem.
