They've gone public and are happy together. Ah, and now on with the show! Chapter 1“You don’t have to come with me,” Erica said, shaking her head as David walked along side her. He shook his head back at her, “I need to be there to make sure that there’s nothing Joe misses.”“What could you possibly pick up that Joe that and...

^LOL, I've seen that clip, it's so Erica. This fic is like second on my list to complete after All for Love.

I have such plans for this. This will NOT be easy for D&E. Erica is so stubborn and Erica gets what Erica wants; even if it means that her heart might stop along the way. And David, well David is stuck between a rock and hard place. Hehe.

She needs a new OB/GYN. Dr. Clader sucks. He should be immediately referring her to a maternal-fetal medicine specialist who works with heart patients, and that doctor should consult with David and Erica both before they make a decision. I could see Erica putting up with the annoyance of wearing a heart monitor for a while for testing, but I think she'd be a total beast if they made her go on bedrest, which they'd have to do if her heart is taxed by the pregnancy. There's a great scene on YouTube of Erica during her pregnancy with Bianca, trying to dress up like a doctor so she can escape the hospital and the forced hospital bedrest she was on. Cliff caught her trying to escape. It was so very Erica.

I could see David trying to bargain with her, promising her that if she ends this pregnancy, they'll try again later when her heart has had more time to heal, and...

She totally isn't being fair to my man, well that is until the end. Does she not get that he wants her to live? Is it really that bad of him to want her alive and not risk her life, he could end up losing both of them. She's gotta know this is an impossible situation for him. Now if it were him carrying that child it might be the same for him as it is her but I think she might actually tell him how it's gonna be

I do get her POV, poor girl doesn't want "kill" their child, even though it might kill her cause she's a lover and I want that baby too!
